What WE BELIEVE
“Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people; and will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.”
The Bible is the inspired, infallible and authoritative Word of God. In it we learn about God, what He has done, is doing and will do. We discover His plans and how He wants us to live them out.
In ONE God; Holy, Eternal, All-Powerful, All-Knowing, All-Wise, Ever Present, Righteous, Just and Unchanging. God exists in three persons – Father, Son and Holy Spirit – living and working in complete and perfect harmony. God created and sustains all things by his powerful word and has a perfect purpose for ALL creation. God is Loving, Patient, Merciful and Gracious and desires to have an intimate, life-transforming relationship with us.
In The Lord Jesus Christ as well as His complete humanity through the incarnation. Since the beginning, humanity has rejected God, creating a separation between Creator and created. God, through Jesus Christ, broke the separation. Jesus, fully God and fully man entered the world and, through His ministry, called all humanity to return to God. He perfectly demonstrated what life WITH God was like. Through His death and resurrection, He removed the sin that separated man from God.
God is at work today through the person of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit calls ALL humanity to repent and return to God to enjoy eternal life made accessible through Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit works within us, leading us into all truth. He equips us with gifts and talents through the power of God, to carry out His work in the world.
In baptism by total immersion in water.
The baptism in the Holy Spirit, with accompanying supernatural signs, is available to ALL believers that ask for it.
The church is a worldwide community of people who follow Jesus Christ. We are called by God to serve, fulfilling His mission and vision of Love for the world. Calvary is an example of this larger community that gathers regularly in worship to encourage one another and to invest our time, resources and talents to express God’s Love and purpose to others.
In the resurrection of both the saved and the lost.
